ITGLOBAL.COM has opened its first cloud platform in the Middle East based on the Equinix DX-1 data center.

ITGLOBAL.COM, a service provider, has opened its first cloud platform in the Middle East based on the state-of-the-art Equinix DX-1 data center in Dubai.

Equinix DX-1, located in Dubai, complies with international standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and PCI DSS. All critical equipment and engineering infrastructure components are reserved, with the data center engineers monitoring and servicing them around the clock.

Equinix DX-1 is one of the data centers of the global company Equinix, founded in Silicon Valley in 1998. Equinix owns and manages a network of 250 data centers located in 71 major cities worldwide. ITGLOBAL.COM has been collaborating with Equinix since 2019 when the service provider opened a cloud platform based on Equinix’s data center in the Netherlands. Therefore, in Dubai, specialists decided to partner with a proven collaborator.

Despite the presence of large international hyperscale platforms in the UAE, such as Amazon, Alibaba, Google, these market giants cannot offer the business services provided by ITGLOBAL.COM. For example, a customized private cloud on VMware.

“The Middle East is a rapidly growing and promising market. We entered this region through the United Arab Emirates because it offers the most favorable conditions for doing business: low competition, low tax rates, expat-friendly policies, and an English-speaking environment. Many entrepreneurs from Russia are developing their businesses in the UAE, opening their offices here, and they need the infrastructure that we are ready to provide,” commented Stepan Kiselev, Regional COO of ITGLOBAL.COM.
After the United Arab Emirates, ITGLOBAL.COM plans to expand into other countries in the Middle East.
“We are interested in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf monarchies, such as Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar. At the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, GITEX, held from October 16 to 20, 2023, we reached agreements with partners from Pakistan and are now planning to open a cloud platform in Karachi early next year,” shared Vasily Belov, CEO of ITGLOBAL.COM.
