Actual availability

Actual availability is an indicator indicating the percentage of service availability per unit of consumption for the period. It is calculated by the formula: ((average work time (AWT) for the period – downtime for the period) / AWT) x 100%. For example, if the total downtime is 3 hours per month, with AWT= 24×7, the percentage of availability equals (30x24x60 – 3×60) / (30x24x60) x 100% = 99.58%.
