GPU cloud servers help businesses solve complex problems, grow aggressively, and save money on hardware purchases
ITGLOBAL.COM has started providing its clients in Russia with AI Cloud service, under which businesses can rent cloud servers with modern powerful GPUs.
Five to ten years ago, GPUs were used primarily for graphics and visualization. With the advent of general-purpose computing on GPUs, GPUs have been used in other applications such as AI, high-performance computing, and machine learning.
The increased use of GPUs has come from their parallel computing capability. Unlike CPUs, which are designed to process sequential tasks, GPUs can process multiple tasks in parallel.
“As part of the AI Cloud service, customers have access to six vGPU configurations per VM: 1vGPU.10GB (1vGPU Instance, 10 GB vGPU RAM), 1vGPU.20GB, 2vGPU.20GB, 3vGPU.40G, 4vGPU.40G, 7vGPU.80GB. The profiles are already pre-configured and are easy to select and add when creating a VM. Thus, the business can use the most suitable option for its tasks,” – Alina Zhigalova, Director of Service Development at ITGLOBAL.COM.
The cloud provider has eight data centers in seven countries on three continents. AI Cloud service has already been built and implemented in Russia, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands. ITGLOBAL.COM installs its own high-end equipment in the data centers: high-performance vStack-R servers, NVIDIA A800 GPU gas pedal and NetApp All-Flash storage.
