Cloud providers appreciate the advantages of the vStack platform over open source solutions on Cloud & Connectivity

Cloud & Connectivity Forum annually gathers in Moscow the main market players in the field of cloud services, multi-clouds, hybrid IT architectures and specialists who are interested in continuous business operation in cloud environments.

In 2023, the forum was held for the ninth time. It was attended by major companies such as Alfa Bank, VTB Bank, Aeroflot, Vkontakte, Vkusno – and Dot, Gazprom Neft, Heineken and others. One of the partners of the event was the vStack platform for creating enterprise-level virtual data centers based on standard server equipment.

Representatives of dozens of cloud providers were interested in the vStack stand because with the help of vStack Service Provider Panel, service providers can customize their pricing grid, quickly provision virtual resources, and save time for sales and first-line support.

In turn, the cloud provider’s customers, thanks to the vStack solution, are able to manage their infrastructure through a single dashboard: configure services, get the necessary computing power in minutes, monitor loads and control costs.

Experts who have managed to evaluate the advantages of the vStack platform are successfully testing pilot projects or have already implemented the product and are actively using it in their work. Most participants noted that the Russian platform does not copy open source solutions, and they support this vector of the company’s development.

“Participation in the forum showed that providers are attracted to independent development. Because it is a thornier path than copying open source solutions. We are glad that our ideology resonates with experts, because the main goal of vStack is to create products that make cloud services more accessible and convenient for users,” shared Evgeny Karpov, development manager of vStack hyperconverged platform.

Within the framework of Cloud & Connectivity, a large number of sessions, discussions and practical master classes took place, which helped participants to better understand the trends in cloud technologies and choose the best solutions for their companies. Through various formats, experts were able to familiarize themselves with new cloud solutions, exchange opinions and experience with colleagues and make new business connections.
