IP route

IP routing or IP routing is the process of moving packets from one IP network to another using routers. It involves managing the routing tables in routers to reliably deliver packets.

IP routing triggers route determination and forwarding methods for a network packet at each node in the network. Through the routing protocol, it searches for available networks and determines the best path for a network packet to travel to its destination. Traffic is routed from one available node to another until it reaches the destination. This involves static configuration rules or dynamically derived rules from routing protocols.
