Proxy server

A proxy server is an intermediary server between a client’s PC and a specific web resource. When using a proxy server, a request from the client’s PC to a web resource first goes to the proxy server, where it is processed before being sent to the desired web server. The web server’s response first arrives at the proxy server and is then redirected to the user’s PC. This redirection scheme allows you to organize a simple policy for accessing Internet resources and protect against external attacks.
