Hardware as a service (HaaS) is a service that implies providing hardware infrastructure in the cloud. The user leases not only the infrastructure they need, but also its service carried out by the provider.

The main difference between HaaS and buying hardware for one’s own needs (when the user pays for the hardware outright) is that one usually pays only a monthly fee.
